Little Pots of Love

German: Liebesgrübchen

  1. All you need is love!

  2. Whisk soft butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until light and frothy
  3. One by one, mix in 2/3 of the egg yolks
  4. Add flour and straightaway knead to a smooth dough
  5. Wrap in plastic wrap and everything goes into the refrigerator (for at least 30 minutes)

  6. Pre heat the oven 275F (250F fan assisted)
  7. Line baking sheets with baking paper
  8. Form dough into small balls
  9. Create a small dimple in the middle of each dough ball using the end of a wooden spoon
  10. Fill each dimple with one type of jam
  11. Slightly squeeze together the edges of the dimples to stop the jam from running out

  12. Whisk remaining egg yolks with milk
  13. Spread mixture on cookie balls and place on baking sheets (leave some space)
  14. Bake on middle shelf for 40 minutes until golden brown
  15. Remove cookies on baking paper from baking sheet
  16. Leave to cool, and store in a tin and enjoy after 4 weeks
